hi everyone, i found this xb coupe the JG numbers on the shocker tower are not matching the id plates, could this be factory fault or some shifty business, has anyone come across this, the shocker tower it has jg65 with a c at the end and the plates have jg67 with a k at the end, it suppose to be a gs. Thanks

WALK AWAY. The shock tower says it's a falcon 6 cyl while the ID plate says it is a V8 Fairmont. This car smells to high heaven. Ford made the odd typo but there is no way they would use 2 different VINs. I'd be ringing main roads and giving them both

Sounds too risky. The odd single digit typo or 1 word wrong, but that is way off.

yes i agree guys it is risky, I checked the numbers on revs check nothing came up so i don,t know what is the story there

Or it could be like my mates case but its unlikely but posible.My mate has a xw wich was in an accident quite some years ago and the tower has been replace so he has different numbers to.His car has passed all checks with both the id tags and the replacem
