I mean.....something that would be an easy fit to a 302/351 in a XY ?
I'm assuming C4 and C10 are both 3 speed boxes ?

if u are droppin it in a xy , why not go for a injected 5.0 out of a eb upwards and take the auto with it. (4speed). I am unsure if they bolt to a old school windsor i am sorry,

If you are running clevo probably the early AOD box will fit though extractors will be a worry with fitment.

Ahh..ok..maybe it's all too much hassle? Looks like it's back to the C4 idea, and probably a 302.
What options are there for stroker kits for 302/351 ? Are they worthwhile ?
A big block would be overkill and I wouldn't wan

just find a 51 and a c10 box, get the c10 clened up at a decent trans place and kitted,
of course stroker kits are worth it,
aint no replacement for displacement.

I also would like to know if 4 speed autos can fit , i have a 351 windsor in a xw and would like to fit a 4 speedauto and also extractors , Can it be done fairly easily , Davey

Not easily Davey. I think the 4 speed from an EB to AU Falcon V8 will fit but it's not a simple matter of just fitting the box. There is all the wiring and the computer controled stuff that leads to heartache and major expense as the new boxes are meant

Aside from the electronic headaches I can assure you from first hand experience that the EB-AU BTR 4 speed won't fit into an un modified XW trans tunnel.
THE AOD is the box that you want not the AODE (E for electronic). There was a write up in Street |
