hi guys
i have a 74 tc cortina and would like to put power steer in it dose any one know of any conversions out there or a place i could call to find out cheers

A TE or TF P/S rack should fit but there are quite rare for two reasons. 1 they were not fitted to too many Cortinas 2/ The Torana boys like them to convert their cars to power steering as no Torana ever had P/S.

cheers for the input buddy will have to look in to that i thought they where completly diferant but i have not had much of a look yet

Yes the front ends are completely different. The TC/TD mounts the engine on the cross member whereas the TE/TF they are on the chassis rails due to extra beef added to the rails of Aussie Cortinas. I believe that the racks are still interchangeable though |
