Terry was going through my old mags and came across a Performance Build ups from around 2000 it has an add for your book 50 years of holden. I was going to turf it but if you want it you are welcome I can easily tear the the page out although I don't usually like destroying books but as I am junking dozens of them I don't really care. Let me know if you want it.

Thanks John, but I have several of those old adverts. My publisher in those days also produced a whole range of 'performance' type magazines & it cost him very little to put full page ads in each of them to promote the 50 year book. It's hard to believe that it was almost 20 years ago, when I started that first book. Dr Terry Edited by user Thursday, 3 December 2015 6:37:43 AM(UTC)

Dr Terry, Whats the plan? Will you be doing a 69 years of holden or a 70 years of holden to include the imported range? Whatever you do I am sure it will replace 60 years of Holden as the most referenced book in my library.

There will be a 70 year book, I've been slowly working on that for a while. Any errata or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Holdens will still be sold here, it's only the local production facility that is to be shut down. 2017 will not be the end of the world. Even the imported Commodore's replacement will still be badged Commodore, to my knowledge.
Most of Holden's current range is imported already & those cars are featured in my current book. Things like Rodeo, Jackaroo, Colorado, Barina, Astra, Vectra, Epica, Captiva etc. etc. are/were all imported.

Hi Dr TErry, I sent you a PM thru MYSANDMAN.com about the VT diff range you have listed in your book, did you receive it? |
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid. |

Yes, Adam, I did receive it. Work is a bit busy ATM, so I'll check up on that over Christmas.
With regards to the diff specs, I have conflicting literature on this, so I'll be checking real cars & a few further items before coming to a conclusion on that one.
