Hi All,

I have just purchased a set of 14 x 8 ROH GTS rims HQ stud pattern. Can anyone tell me if they are aftermarket or did ROH actually make them for Holden? Any help is appreciated.

ROH only made N66 Rally Rims in Pontiac style for late HQ to mid 1978 HZ and also for A9X but in a different offset. All were 14x6". From mid 1978 the N66 rim was replaced by an alloy N67 rim also 14x6. The N67 rim was never used on a Monaro. The N66 rim was only standard on GTS and LE not Monaro in general. N66 was also standard on SS and Sandman, and N67 was standard on Sandman, HZ GTS and later on HZ SLE, plus came with some WB. The widest HQ to WB rims were the PE1 14x7 rims available on HJ-HZ sedan from 1/75 and standard on HX LE plus the 15x7 WB alloy wheels on Caprice and some other Statesman. Neither were ROH afaik. GMH fitted some possible 8" rims to some special internal cars (Snoflakes for example on the HJ LE prototype and A9X concept) but not to road vehicles. Remember the widest tyre available to GMH for most of this period were ER70H14.

After market
ROH do make just rims that wheel repair places buy and can cut out the center of a standard GTS 6 inch rim,
then weld that into an 8 inch rim or any width rim for that matter and any backspace.

I'd say that's how you have a 8 inch ROH GTS rim.

They also appeared on LH Torana L34.
