For an ORIGINAL panel there is very little possibility you will find one, thereby making the value as high as one wants to pay. However the Rare Spares ones are nearly completed and have undergone extensive test fitting by recognised specialists here. They will be made in the two styles ( with indicator hole and without) Once they are finally sample approved and produced they will enable many restorations to proceed. The panels have taken a few years in the process to ensure they meet with customer satisfaction. Being a large panel the tooling is very expensive and complex.

This may be a silly question, but will the one without the indicator hole be only sold for WB? It will not meet ADR's without the side indicator on HQ to HZ.

Byron,They will be sold as two distinct applications. The factory was sent an original vehicle and original panels plus extra ends for the indicator lamps. So you can start to add up the cost before they even started tooling. Add in the cost of trips by RSP and the factory and time spent testing will increase expenditure. In the end it is all about getting parts for the continual restoration of iconic Australian vehicles. It has taken a while to get these completed but hopefully very worthwhile by later this year. It should make it affordable for a lot of rebuilds including yourself.

Are these being made in Australia? Someone in WA is talking about remaking panels for ford and Holden coupes and trims on eBay or Facebook. Was wondering if they have approached rares or on their own, have you heard about this company before?
