HR 186S/X2 (186K) nasco replacement block engine numbers?

Seeing this HR Premier that is a fairly original 186S opel 4speed I noticed it had a Nasco replacement engine/block. This reminded me of a post a 2 or 3 years ago where there was a bit of conjecture as to what the letter/letters before the engine number would be for a HR 186S/X2 (186K) nasco replacement engine/block. Mike81973 took an educated guess and said NG or NJ. He might be right. |

I think NJ is for any 186, not just for an S. Will explain later. |
