Hi guys. My first post after years of lurking.

Was wondering in the KTG series, do all cars that had Salisbury diffs factory fitted have the hump in the rear floor and fuel tank? Or is it only cars with 12 bolt diffs fitted? Can you have a 10 bolt car without a hump?

The Salisbury hump is only really needed for 12 bolt rear axles but all 10 bolt equipped cars had one. 10 bolt was standard on 5litre and above manual and on 5litre auto GTS after about the end of July 1968. If auto was optioned and 3.36:1 was optioned on any HK-HG 5litre outside of GTS the diff was also a 10 bolt, except Brougham of course which was only banjo.
