Hi there,
I’m looking at replacing some brake lines on a HZ?
I’ve got the following questions:
Is it better to use stainless or steel tube?
What size is it?
Which fittings will I need to buy to replace the ends where they are solid mounted (where the flexible brake hose connects)?
I’ve been looking through the VPW catalogue but can’t figure out which fittings to buy and where to get retaining clips.

I bought new lines , benders, flaring tool etc from a place in Seven Hills called Motorsport Connections. The brake line is 3/16" Bundy tube. See thread below. If it is all standard stuff get onto Andy Lee, he makes all the lines up ready to go. He is in Victoria. Most of the retaining clips are available aftermarket. MSCN? I got my brake lines from their vic outlet (just around the corner from work) The guy Marcus who ran it went thru what I needed to fit the VK with new lines He also did my braided fuel line setup ps ... they have just changed their name here to The Race Shop |

Don't use stainless tube, it is much harder to work & the flared ends don't seal as well as normal bundy tube.
