I just purchased one of the " Holden " Cadillac's , model year 2009 CTS . it seems it was first regoed in Aussy . Put VIN in Vic roads , but nothing came up 1G6DR57V490100253. Do deregistered cars disappear from the data base ? it is also a very early build , pre -production " Bucket Batch Build Process" anyone know what that means? Hope we are allowed to talk about Cadillacs ? Thanks Mark. |

A lot of these pilot or pre-release test vehicles usually run around on trade plates, so there might not be any rego history at VicRoads. Dr Terry |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

I saw one in Wellington NZ a couple of years ago. Nice looking car. šš» I think there were 89? of them and they got redirected to NZ once the GFC stymied the launch plans here. It sounds reasonable that one or two got driven around a bit leading up to that. Iām fairly certain I read about one being driven around in Melbourne in one of the magazines of the time. Nothing concrete sorry. |
