The 253 was straped to a steel case 5sped with hollenger input shaft and 5th gear using a castle main rod shop bell housing, this box is still avaliable. The diff was a fully inported 9inch GT diff from the states, this has been sold. Fuel well.... if you drive it like a granny then the economy is good, start taking it to 9,000 + RPM and like all of us it can drink !!
