Hi guys,
I have a red 202 in a tunner I bought a few months back. The engine has been missing (not liturally) since I've had it. I rebuilt the head, new lifters,plugs dizzy and leads and replaced the coil. The engine still misses. I have narrowed it down to cyl 1 and cyl 2. The cylinder compression is up around the 150 - 160psi mark. I spoke to the guy who use to own it, and he said he worked it over about 10 years ago using xu1 go fast bits,I tried putting fibre washers under the rockers (it has solids not adjustable) and the miss went away for a bit, and then came back but not as strong. Can anyone suggest another avenue. The motor has just been sitting for a while.
