Hi Fastlaners,

My mechanic stupidly put the rocker cover off my original 186s into his parts washer - it stripped enough paint and the original sticker off it that it is now useless - my only option is to paint it up and put a new decal on it, but that will look stupid given the rest of the motor (head and block) is sporting 34 year old paint.

Basically this is a long way of asking if anybody has an original used 186S rocker cover with the gold sticker still on it (worn is ok, but the cleaner, the better, obviously) that they would be willing to sell to me?

Btw, I like my mechanic and this was an honest mistake on his behalf - I just want to try to sort it out before I end up with a gleaming restored rocker cover on an otherwise good, relatively clean unmolested engine!
