Are VL and VN power steering racks the same?
If so, with a VQ k-frame and VN power rack, in a VB, will I need to run a VL power steering intermediate shaft, as I suspect. Or will I need a VN one?
Cheers.

Hi EFI304HT.

The VL & VN are not the same but from the fitting point of view they will interchange.

So yes, you can fit the combination of parts that you list.

Dr Terry.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Run the VL intermediate shaft to suit the VL/N rack in a VB.

For conversion purposes, a VN rack is better than a VL one, as it leaves more room for extractors.
