Hi Guys,

I have been offered a 350 Chev Vortech? engine complete with a brand new Victor Junior Hi-Rise manifold attached for $800.

What is the going rate for the above motor and what does the Vortech mean? My apoligies if I have the spelling wrong.

Motor is apparently low kays and just needs rings.

Cheers,
Allan

P.S. My bad with the reference to H series Holdens in my last post! What was I thinking!

Hi a Vortech is a late model chev engine usually new and refered to as a new motor Vortec can be 350 or a 305, If it needs rings its done alot of ks ,I used to marinise them i rekon your better off finding an earlier 010 cast block and recoing that as thats what you will most likely do to that Vortec a full reco. My opinion anyway your choice.. HoldenOn Dagwoodone
