Torana LH/LX V8 Salisbury or Banjo diff housing with centre and axles. Must be for a V8 model.

In Ipswich, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunny Coast or Northern NSW areas preferably.

This is for a mate, his number is: 0403 452 033

Thank you for any assistance with this, Lindsay.

unless your mate has an A9X then the standard diff was
a bango and is the same as the 6 cyl except for the yoke which
is bigger, LX had fine spline axles/ LH was course but all are
interchangeable as long as centre matches axles
ratio 3.08 or 2.78
depends on his application

OK thanks mate, he has a 350 going into the thing. Did the V8 model have the same centre as the 6?

The centre in a bango is the same , just need to put a V8 tail shaft yolk on it .

If he is putting a 350 Chev motor in the car dont even bother with Bango or Salisbury , Just go 9 inch or he will just be putting new diffs and axles in it every second day , in saying that, Holden diffs are getting hard to find, hence they are all busted! I hate to admit that Ford did make 1 good thing ( the mighty 9 inch ) with heaps of options in ratios.

Good Luck !

another option for a diff these days is the borg warners 28 spliners, cheaper price than the nine inch in the end, but lighter with less parasitic drag and better clearnce for exhaust etc.
there is a bloke at redcliffe in qld, Michael Kiss at scarborugh who does all sorts of diffs, switched on with all this sort of stuff, just a home operation
