Well ... It guess driving a holden means getting an oil leak from time to time.

I found a small oil spot on my driveway and got that semi sick feeling in my stomach.

Cut a long story short ... lucky for me it was not the rear main as i first though but a small weep up front that has run l down along the sump.

I dont really want to replace the gasket and was hoping of just putting on some gasket compound like

Permatex Ultra Black RTV Silicone Gasket

Does anyone have any idea of product they would use for a small weeping oil leak ?

Oil Tray, use it only in the garage ,
can get in the way in the driveway.

i thought i had a leaking sump gasket. it ended up leaking from the back of the left rocker cover. quick nip of the bolts fixed that. they are forever coming loose.
