Hope this is not off topic.
I have a 67 corvette that has a bent(very slightly)chassis and was wondering if anyone knows of where I can get it straightened? maybe someone who does HQs might be able to help.
I am in Melbourne

Anyone who straightens chassis can do that one,they dont buy tooling to just suit the one type of car.ps are you sure its bent?sometimes hard to tell i think.

Yes unfortunately one of the front rails is twisted about 25mm
I was hoping that someone had a good experience to relate rather than finding someone by mistake

start at the panel shops and ask around ,thats really the only way,or go to the motor check place and ask them for a list of approved chassis repairers/engineers, maybe they will help.

up here in brisbane we have a mobile bloke in a truck long as you have a flate piece of concrete to work off goes anywhere, i would be looking for some one who specialises in chassis straightening not just any old panel beater.

Carreras in Nth Melbourne.
Panel beaters/engineers that straighten diff housings, k-frames, chassis etc.

Well you have to be realistic, there are not too many 67 Corvettes in Melbourne, let alone any specific chassis straightening machines for them. I could do it to the 1mm, but you probably wont be able to afford the shop hour time required. Ring around and ask and be straight up with what you require.
