Hi, Iam fitting HG GTS (12volt) gauges (fuel) into a modified FJ sedan converted to 12volt system. My question are:
What will happen to the 6 volt sender by using 12volt system???
Will the gauge still read somewhere close????
If I need to recalibrate the gauge and or sender, can this be done and by who???

any help would be appreciated.

cheers

Steve

The sender doesnt have a voltage rating its only a variable resistor. Luckily FX to early HQ Holden fuel senders all have the same zero to 30 ohms resistance, so your set-up will work no worries.

Dr Terry.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
