Actually Lowndes has been the best Supercar driver for quite a while, as I said at the start of the year.
Apart from the fuel and tyre quandry that all teams had to contend with, Lowndes driving is absolute poetry in motion.
He's the best driver Australia has produced since Peter Brock.
He had the talent from day one, and only needed to mature....which he has done admirably.
Hopefully the Kelly brothers and Jamie Winchup will go down the same track....the signs are there.
The only regret is that Craig drives for the opposition :-(
