 I am trying to determin if this style of chrome trim was ever avaliable for the wagon & if anyone has a pic, I have recently purchased a set for a sedan & as in the pic it was avaliable for the statesman as well, so hoping the wagon was too. any part Nos, suppliers or magazine adds from the day would be appreciated. thank's Kevin HOLDEN The Great Way to Move |

These are an after market accessory, I have seen them on sedans and coupes but not wagons.
Not sure who made them, but have seen most in Victoria and Queensland, never saw one in NSW.

mmm I live in Southern NSW & can remember a few HQ sedans in the early 90s getting around loally with this style chrome, talked to one owner who called it a "malibu special", can remember a HQ off ebay a few yars ago had it, it was a locally sold car from the hunter valley, the statesman in the pic was sold new in adelaide & I know of another kingswood sold in N.E. Vic..
So who made the stainless trim for the HQ, was it in house or out sourced? who dos it now (as in reco-ing or fabrication?).
