Hey
I have an Etruscan Gold HQ GTS350 81837 coupe with a 18X (flax vinyl) interior according to the plate. I want to take it all back to original as it is a rare colour for a Monaro apparently.
Can anyone tell me what colour all the interior parts should be on a 18X interior, please?
Armrest console
Armrest door
Carpet
Handbrake lever cover & grip
Turn signal knob
Dash Pad
Sun visors
Centre pillar trim
Side cowl trim
Package tray trim
Rear quarter side lower trim
Windlace
Console
Obviously, the seats, door trims and headlining are all flax, but any info would be great.

armrest centre console & door --flax , carpet black , handbrake grip --black , headlining --flax , turn signal knob --black ,instrument pad --black , sunvisor --flax ,trim centre pillar --flax , trim cowl side --flax , package tray --black , trim rear 1/4 lower--flax , windlace door --flax . Thats for 18X & 18Y . Hope that helps . |

Hi I have an Amethyst Metallic HQ coupe with FLAX interior... my car has its original interior...
Armrest console - no armrest on a HQ... centre console is painted flax
Armrest door - again no armrest on HQ...
Carpet - black... the same as the bottom of the door trims
Handbrake lever cover & grip - black and black
Turn signal knob - black
Dash Pad - black
Sun visors - flax
Centre pillar trim - i think flax but i will check
Side cowl trim - ditto
Package tray trim - black
Rear quarter side lower trim - flax
Windlace - flax
Console - which console... do you mean dash facia

you will need to let us know what month/year your hq was built so that the guys on here can advise what facia you need... there was an ADR change in some time in 72 that changed the finish (colour) of the facia... greg from classic oz wreck can sell you the correct facia... his details are at the top of the page in the advertisers section.. sounds like a nice car youve got Al Edited by user Thursday, 5 November 2009 6:49:21 AM(UTC)

Sorry, forgot about the year, it is a 6/72.
Its not a nice car yet, at the moment it has a WB statesman front, flares on the back, a lovely green velvet interior!!!, 9 inch, little rust and needs a fair bit of work to get back to original. It came with 14x10" 12 slotters for the back and 14x8 for the front. But picked it up from my neighbour for $2000 a few years back so I am pretty happy with the increase in values!
