are there any risks with lowering a vz ss ute. i have been told that u can lower them to far and start to damage diffs is this true and is there a better brand to use

Yep, it will mess the diff right up. Puts too much load on the side carrier bearings and they fail.
My diff guy was talking about some conversion that he does. But it costs around $1500. I am not real sure on the details, as I wasnt really listening when he was telling me.

if you lower a vt-vz too far (more than 25mm) the rear wheels will start to tilt in, youll need a rear camber kit or youll go through tyres like theres no tomorrow

yep, ya then gotta put a kmac kit in it part number 201626 to try and stand up the rear wheels, but if you go real, real low and then try stand the back wheels up by maxing out the upper adjustment eccentric bush, you can pull the splines out of the half shafts as well

As above, plus theres guard clearance to remember. Tight in Commys when you start to drop them then bring the camber back to sane levels, and worse when you increase wheel and tyre combo size.
