Too hard to post. Its pretty complicated. It needs a 1 on 1 explanation for a specific set of glass, as there is at least 3 different types of codong and each is different for front, side and rear glass.

and the Bottom word APPROVED has a dot above the second P
then lastly the ASR1 has the dot above the S

AFAIK for this example, the dot over the M is 1973 (earlier glass has ARMOURFLOAT).

The dot over the P is 3rd quarter.

So 3rd quarter 1973. So if the glass is orignal to the car it would be built at least after June 1973 to have 3rd quarter glass, but by HK glass examples a car with 3rd quarter 1968 glass normally is September or later.

Not sure what the dot over the ASR1 is. HKs dont have this, but HT and HG do on some glass.

Thanks a lot,
the production date of this XU-1 Torana is 13th August 1973 This will be the original glass for this car as I thought.
I just have to find out an economical way to remove the scratches, any Ideas?
Some of these cars also seem to have had factory tinted side windows but I know even less on these. later Holdens had Antisun on them but I dont know if this was used in 1972 & 3.

Thanks again for your help, it is very appreciated.
