Hi all,

I was under the impression that all the original 5 spoke Dragway wheels were stamped Dragway' on the front face of the mounting center between two wheel mounting holes along with AS1688 (I think?).

Today when inquiring at a well know Melbourne wheel shop in the outer east, they tried to sell me a set of original 'Dragways' that were not stamped as per the pic above.

Thoughts?

Geoff

AFAIK the geniuine dragways have always had the centre stamp.

if they didnt they would be the delta 5 spoke copy.

other differences include the dragways being a hex head bolt connecting the centre to the outer band, where as the deltas are welded.

WANTED:
-2 14 x 9.25 CSA style Centrelines.
-2 x 15 x 8 Dragway centrelines
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

This is how I believed it to be also. I have a few of both the genuine dragways and also the delta wheels. I also have a couple of different styles of the genuine 5 spoke dragway...

Cheers
Jason
