You really want HK sedan rear lowers, HT-HG sedan wheel arches and whatever fits in front of the sedan bit of the wheelarch. HT/G sedan lower rear quarters have the body line higher than on a coupe. Just look at them side by side in relation to the rear bar an its obvious. This is why we are all sweating on decent repair sections or quarters!

new RS front of 1/4 fitted, you can see by the join the the wheelarch where the shape is not quite right, swage line is also very shallow to where meets door body line

fits nice down the bottom with the new sill on it

swage line needs a bit more work to it so it matches the bodyline in the door, needs to be little more prominant, but overall, not to bad. car was extrememly rusty in thes areas

not too bad, the over alternative was to get tommasinni to make on up for us, but @ $6k per side, this was a bit more of an attractive proposition

Do you know anyone who has tried the wheel arch moulds (steel sections) produced by Waddingtons? What was there experience. I was thinking of getting the lower rear quarters and also using the parts from Waddingtons (I think you would need to either cut part of the lower rear quarter out or the bottom part of the wheel arch mould). Also where did you purchase your beaver through? $6k per side is more then I paid for the car!!!!!!!

waddingtons stuff is ok from what ive seen and heard, but it all still needs working, i dont care who makes it or where it comes from, call him up and ask, he just had an open day at the shop
beaver and sills came from the boys in QLD, but i dont know which one it was, cant recall as it was painfull, i think it was newoldcar

Hi what was used for the replacement center section above the wheel?
I had studied these 1/4 fronts when they were released and I believe they should have been a few inches longer to get back past where the second lot of felt can result in rust on the line where they are proposed to be joined. And what out there are people using between the panels where the offending felt holds the moisture. Looks like that munro will be a tidy unit once back on its feet. Oily

i'd say i've thrown better bodies to the tip, but that was then, this is now. we used the original centre section, cut it out where you see the rear most join at the rear, and up near the pillar join, and just tapped it up nice so it was reasonably good and then welded it back in. its really not a bad piece that rares have made, would be nicer if it was a bit longer, but still ok i guess, better than the swiss cheese that most of these things were even in 1970.
i cant answer what we are going to use or others are using for felt because we havent got that far yet!!.
