on me trip to melb, i inadvertantly put my t400 in reverse, at 110klm!!!!
seems to have not done any damage at all????? "amazing".
there is however a slight rumbling, almost like a uni not 100%.
however, i have had a cook, and they seem fine and dandy?
wondering whether it may have done something else to auto?
your thoughts appreciated.
cheers
bcb

it was but yesterday, i thought myself a fragment, quivering without rythum in the sphere of life.

A mate was flat out doing 160km/h in his mums 202 VB commodore. back in 1983.
He pull it back in to 1st and she went sideways, then he accidentally went in to reverse and it went sideways again, all with his foot flat to the floor.
The auto was fine. but it broke a rocker pedestal in the 202.
He was just having a willy about his boxing match. that is how it happened. the traumatic trimatic.

thanks fellas,
makes me feel a bit betterer about not actually havin blown me t400 up!
it is so good to not have electronics in the beast.
easy to maintain, 308 on gas is getting similiar economy as when it was diesal, without the hundreds being spent keeping her going?
she weighs 2200k, and the 308 seems to be about right power to weight ratio?
thanks again
bcb
