I have a 1995 holden rodeo turbo diesel ute. When its stationary the battery light, brake light and coolant light all come on. If i drive off or rev it up, the lights go out... The air con also cuts out when the lights come on..I did have an electrical smell go through the car which is now gone.. The car still runs fine.. Any ideas??

id also be looking into the earth leads, some cars have a main engine earth and a second earth from the dash etc, if the power cant get threw the engine earth may trace its way threw the other earths

some commodores are common for brake and headlights coming on when the switch is off etc because of the same problem
