Does the HJ coupe rear bar irons differ to the HJ sedan irons?
Mine has been running the HQ rear bar and irons since i've had it and was going to cut the slots in the bar for the HJ jack.
I sat the HQ and HJ irons onto my bar and noticed the HJ iron sits higher, which would make the bar sit further out from the body.
Whats the go???
I also know about the bigger dome bolts!
cheers...Mario

They are stronger and do sit out further for the bumper jack.

Cheers,

My HJ parts catalogue still shows the same bar, irons and bolts as my HQ parts catalogue which is completely wrong.
If i put the HJ sedan irons on the HQ bar,the gap between the 1/4 pressing and bar gap would look weird....but if thats what was used then so be it.

I guess your HQ book is a late book. It is normal for part numbers in later books to supercede to later bits that fit but are not the same as the original stuff.
