I have been told that a certain model 9 inch (think from a XC falcon) is nearly the same length as a salisbury diff and would nearly bolt straight under a HQ-WB with only minor mods to the mounting points, can anyone shed some light on this for me.

Standard wheel rear wheel track... HQ 1529mm XC 1527mm.
The mounting points will be the question.

Checked the "Folden" specs, no joy it's got a tonner rear end in it.

I have seen 2 holden one tonners with 9 inch diffs in them was told by both owners was a straight bolt in job with just the tail shaft modification both still had ford stud patten one had ford stud paten on front don't know about the other one

xw xy is the right length for holden..slightly narrower than a 10 bolt ..xa xb xc are a poofteenth too wide. going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car... www.classicozwreck.com.au |
