Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the power steering on a 63 EH. From what I believe, not many were produced. My issues is I have fluid coming from part of the unit, and probably needs a gasket/o'ring kit.

I know it's a mute point but power steering wasn't made available on the EH series until Feb 1964, but accessory kits were made available at that same time & could be retro-fitted to earlier cars.
Anyway, many power steer specialists stay away from the old Saginaw ram style steering diue to lack of familiarity, but I've been repairing them since the 70s.
The leak could be from anywhere in the system, clean it up & take a look. It could be the ram, the valve, the pump or the hoses. As I said, all quite repairable.

Thanks for the response, had a good look after the post.Keeping in mind I'm not a mechanic and this is my 1st EH. It's not from the pump or the ram/hoses. So it looks like it's the valve. Do i need a gasket kit to fix the issue. I'm guessing it's not a off the shelf purchase. Any leads would be most welcome.
