How much would one pay for a very good usable complete 302 windsor mated to a C4.
We are considering removing the 253/M21 for the Ford.

Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)

Running (not reco as they go for more) 302W with auto $500 up to about $1200 Running 302C and auto (not a reco) $300-$800. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't follow 302C prices much of late.

Running 5.0 with 4 speed auto's are going for $500-$1500 but they give you a whole heap of wiring challenges especially if you don't have the donor car or it's a Smartlock car.

I bought a running 5.0 a couple of years back for $300 but then I had to source an auto, Flex plate, bell housing bolts, Starter motor, Wiring, ECU, AFM, new serpentine belt, inlet ducting and cat converters so I don't think I was left with much change out of $1k.

Vandals and graffiti "artists" do everyone a favour and target parking meters and fixed speed cameras only.

Thanks Jim, I think we'd better go with a complete car as a donor.
