I don't recall seeing a post on this subject before and, after reading OldDogs's WB Ute post, I thought I'd kick this one off.
The VSCCS (Vehicle Safety Compliance Certification Scheme) is proposed to come into effect in 2011. The RTA web site (see link below) explains the proposal and allows you to comment on the proposal. I think anyone that's in the process of building a project car should read the RTA proposal so thay know what's in store for them. BTW, I'm not authority on this issue, just one of many who will probably get caught up in it whan I go to get my car registered. Happy reading

Thanks, thats some good reading. I heard a rumour about this late last year but dismissed it, i also heard a rumour that one of our local mechanics was going to take it on. Now i better go check that out, might save me a long trip to Sydney to get engineering work done.
