You HQ fanatics will love this! http://youtu.be/Af3PUH4rIekI wonder if any of these cars are still around? I remember these guys at the Sydney Royal Easter Show when I was a kid. For me it was the highlight of the Royal Easter Show. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Cheers Nick. |

Loved it!!!
I believe the current drivers are now driving hilux's. Saw them at the Sydney Easter show. All noise and while there is some degree of skill, it is a poor show compared to the holden days. Had one of the utes over on 2 wheels for half the arena. I also loved the old holden days.

I found this in the comments below the video. Bit of an update from one of the drivers' sons.:
Man this is awesome. Mike Chapman is my Dad. I can't wait to show him this old footage. He is#65279; in the orange car! Sadly Errol Bognuda passed away a few years ago. I was 5 when i used to go to the ekka and watch him...hardly remember! I sent this to my sisters who watched him from 7-8 years old until they were 15-16. they watched nearly every show in brisbane and never got bored watching. Mike is currently 73 years old and still lives in brisbane and is at the ekka today.

near Brisbane. Three drivers were
Lloyd Robinson, Errol Bognuda,
Mike Chapman . It was the teams second
set of#65279; HQ coupes, but they used loan Cars when in Adelaide or Perth.
