hi guys

thanks for al ltyhe previous comments re. the carby, have decided to getthe original rebuilt whenthe funds allow.

In the meantime, what is the correct (and best aftermarket) coil to suit a stock XD 5.8? The one in my car has been replaced but I can't tell with what type (eg. brand and resistor or no resistor).

Just make sure it's one that suits electronic ignition. I've got a bosch on my 351. Never had any problems.

iv got a msd blaster on mine, noticed a small increase over the bosche and ACA coil
