OK,
If the HZ release date (as in sale date) on the wagon is the 16th October 1977,
And the press/news release date is the 5th October 1977, what would a premier wagon with a date of first registration being the 7th October 1977 be? A press/demo car?
Also does any one have any photos of a gold HZ premier wagon in any release photos?
Thanks AL

My guess would be a dealer demonstrator. The press cars would have been registered before 5/10/77 so they could be driven on the press release/drive day.

Dealers would have been receiving cars into stock well before the 16th, so a 7/10/77 rego date is certainly not out of the question.

It all comes down to tracing the first registered owner's name. If it was GM-H then yes, it was a press or company executive car. If the car was first registered to a dealer then it was demonstrator.
