I need 2 front bucket seat rails to use as a conversion for vz commodore buckets or if anyone has a better idea on how to fit them apart from don�t put them in it would be appreciated

Tommo, I'm in the process of doing what you're doing, except with VE seats, but they're probably about the same. I started of by thinking that original runners would be best, so bought a pair and pulled 'em apart because i didn't need the slide mechanism. They ended up being too hign, your head was nigh on touching the roof, plus they are curved and the Commie runners are flat. So, I have now fabricated new mounts. Don't have a picture, but will take one, probably tomorrow.

Tommo, here's a couple of photos. The first shows the fabricated mounts sitting in place. The second shows the seat runner assy sitting on the mounts. Worst thing with this is, I'll now have to have the car engineered, something I was trying to avoid.

I think the seats are a little higher than stock seats, but quite OK.
