Scammers at it again. Received e-mail from scammer claiming to be from "optus billing" claiming "problems" with my personal details and if I did not forward my billing details my account would be cancelled within 2 days. Reported it to real Optus. AL.

Yeah, I've gotten those emails also received them from scammers about bigpond. I use a program on my computer called mailwasher that allows me to get the headers of emails before downloading them completely. I can then bounce the email back to the sender directly off the server instead of having it on my computer.
One other thing, when these companies do email people, they always address the emails with the name of the person the email is intended for. Scammers don't. Wonder how many people have been caught though by scammers.
