I believe the reason for them being 2-piece was so they could easily fit in the CKD packing boxes when we exported the kits to the overseas GM-H plants.

they were actually pressed different. the lip on top is 30mm & 40mm instead of 10mm. & tab on bottom is diferent & in different spot. this was to suit th contour of th modified grille. i have one here on th shelf, will get some pics

Its not worth $ 1000, even if I have a South African model, for which I dont. He should have put it to auction, with a reserve.
