any suggestions on where to go in perth to get a radio security unlocked? the dealers are a bit pricy, there must be someone doing it, like with the mobile phones.

The best tip I can give you John, is try another dealer.
Other than that, I've never paid for a radio code when I've been at Holden spares and asked for it whilst purchasing something - I think they don't mind giving it for free if you're spending, but on it's own they will charge you. The going rate was around $25 on its own. |
Cheers,

If it's a Commodore, the radio PIN is stored in the body control computer. Most scanners can plug in & read the PIN. If you have a friend with a scanner he can read it for you in less than a minute.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
