Anyone tell me is it best to rewire a car before its painted, or after its painted with the motor in.

I am planning to have all my wiring and mechanical stuff sorted before paint that way everything should go straight back in with no mucking around.

best to paint with engine out and before rewiring as it easier to get at all points.
have to be careful not to damage paint

Agree with MuckUte, fit it all up first, make sure everything sits the way it should then remove everything before painting.
