Hi.
Does anyone know the contact details of the guy who specializes in Tar Top batteries and repairs in or around Acacia Ridge, Brisbane?
Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers

Nick

Hi Nick, I think there was a guy in Ipswich that does (or did) these, not Acacia Ridge. I saw one in Ben Stewart's car at Lakeside last year. Sure looked the part.

The one in Ben's car was purchased by Tony when he had it. I remember him bringing it back from Victoria.

Ben may have since had it recoed.

Or was it in his Green car?

Hi all.

I have a new old stock battery which has never had acid added.

Also have the old rebuilt tar top battery which Steve Clark purchased from Pope batteries in Sydney in 2005. I sent it back to Pope before Christmas. Shortly after this Russell, the owner of Pope injured his foot and has not been able to work since. I went to Sydney and got the battery back. It has been torn to pieces in preparation for a rebuild. So I would like to try to get it rebuilt. I'll call Ben and discuss.

Thanks Warren and D.A. Barnes.

Cheers Nick.
