Hi all

I found a 1966 HR Holden Maintenance Handbook today amongst our stash and the inner cover where the vehicle "Birth certificate" is had 225 / 282 at the top of the page ?

It looks like it was an X2 as the engine number starts with 186K

Haven't come across the 282 bit before ?

thanks for any insights

Gary

That is probablyone of the package codes discussed here: http://www.fastlane.com....PIC_ID=19939&whichpage=6

The only places it seems to regularly appear is on the INSERT line of a Dandenong build HR or in the books as you have found. Is there any more detail as to what options the car had like LSD, discs etc? At the moment 282 is known to exist on a HR 239M with X2 engine.
Any chance of a scan of the page Gary?
