Hi All
I am after a 308 QT block with a date code between 1J7 and 31K7 for my HZ that has not been completely bored out.
I will trade cash for the motor and would really prefer turbo pattern but will take an Aussie pattern.
Prefer Melbourne/Victoria location but will cover shipping for the right block (inc Perth!).
Thanks

Plugga
Don't get too hung up on date codes, it is the engine number that is important. Date codes mean not a great deal, some are out by up to 4-5 months from the next one in engine number sequence, and these consecutive numbers can end up in vehicles completed months apart at different assembly plants. |

Thanks for the info HK1837.
Unfortunately, I dont know the original engine number and was aiming to get something close based on the cast date. Looks like I can throw the net a little wider based on your comments! I still hold little hope of actually finding one.

PM me the vehicle's details (VIN and chassis numbers) and i'll give you a pretty close approximation to the engine number. |
