Hk Build date and numbers help appreciated

I am now asking what so many have asked before, but I have spent lots of time floundering about. So am taking the easy option and asking if the experts can narrow down my build date from the PSN numbers on big tag 19749B and small tag H123365 built in Brisbane (B B) and I would welcome comments on these numbers too.
the front end frame has been replaced I think as it is 13E8, lucas Wiper motor 4/68 but guage assembly 11/68
engine cast 3914636 number 30701688 K04 16
gearbox 4sp casting: GM1 3925656 E228 Date stamp: 8H14
diff casting passenger side C278 and drivers side 00N1 and (strangly) 12345 and 67890 There is fiently stamped 55 above C278 and on the tube looks like 12 1G 3.36 crown wheel 5-68
any info Greatly appreiated

steering box 22L8 16.7 I wonder if the mechanicals could be original?

The engine number from memory aligns pretty well with later 1968 Acacia Ridge and the 16/4/68 cast date certainly puts it around there. The steering box is consistent with later 1968 as is the guage assembly. So i'd be banking on these belonging together.
The gearbox date is pretty consistent too.
Diffs can be confusing as GMH put the axle tubes on them here.
I'll run it all by Ben and see how many others he has recorded - he may be able to get you a closer approximation. PM me the chassis number too as that will help.

Check for a stencilled date code on the steering column as it sticks out of the firewall.
My HK is apparently March 68 Arcacia Ridge build.
Engine 3070055* K10 17
Chassis HK0471* BB
Big tag 0359*B
Small tag H10504*
Steering box 16C8
None of the other numbers are original, hope that gives you a guide.
Excuse my * I'm old skool wary.
