it's a '97 for escort lx. unfortunatly i crashed it recently and had to replace the head lights. the hi/low beams are reversed when i turn them on. i have no idea as how to fix this. someone plsss help...

Check the connections at the lights themselves, sounds like you have something reversed there. Might even be at the relay.

Ok the first question that I will ask is: When the headlights are in high beam & the switch is on low beam does the high beam light on the dash shine or is it still working correctly?

Don't see how it can be the relay I wold go the opinion check if the light on the dash goes on when on high beam if so no worries. If its on when on low beam well you can run with it and just remember it means low beam is on or change the wiring over. If
