Hi everyone. My ZD has an automatic trans but I'm not too sure what it is. The only indicator i can find on the car is the word "Fordomatic" on the drive indicator on top of the steering column ( it's column shifted at the moment). It doesn't have a dipstick to check the level of the trans fluid either. How do i tell if its a C4 or something else altogether?
My long term plan is to recon it with the motor when the car is back from the spray booth but i would like to know what i have here an whether it's suitable to put behind a mild 302.

It'll be a C4. FMX's only come out behind 351's.
