Any chance I'd have proformance problems replacing my 302 engine's closed chamber heads with open chamber heads? Thanks.

You'll drop about 1.5 points in compression (down to about 7.8:1) as the o/c heads are 76cc's vs the c/c 59 cc's., so you'll definetly be driving a slug.

Sorry I read that the wrong way round. What you wanna go do that for? SOmeone offer you good money for your 302 head? I hear the yanks love them and cant get enough of them. They were unique to Australia you know.

Yeah I tried to sell a pair (302heads) in Things that Go not long ago for $50 not one call. In Australia the cleveland is dead they are only good for XW + XY. The XA,B,C have all rusted away and the XD,E are not worth squat. The cleveland wasnt popular in

You can't be serious, 302 Closed chambered heads are great heads and plenty of people are using them on tough clevo's the yanks are constantly importing them to the states because all they had was open chambered 2 v's and the 4 v's
