is the master cylinder the same on hq's with discs /drums only with the booster added ??

The HQ master cylinder with disc brakes on the front only has no check valve for the front brakes.The master cylinders are the same.you can take the check valve out yourself.It is behind the brass insert that the front brake line sits against.Just undo th

I did this same upgrade to my HQ Belmont Ute. You will have to mark and drill the mounting holes for the booster and you will also need the proportioning valve off the HJ/X as the bias is different with discs. Nothing too difficult to someone with a bit o
