A bloke I know used to have one, they were badged simply as a Chev sedan, this one had a Vinyl Moon Roof and instead of our traditional HQ Statesman fronts had a premier front. Think it was fitted with a 350 Chev as well not too sure he used it as a donor

Yes they had a prem nose cone with a different grill, standard 350, elec windows, radio, air con. Body work the same. Had a '350' badge on the front guards behind the front wheels. Have pictures if your interested.

Greg Did you pick that one up in Canberra? It looks exactly like one I used to work on as an apprentice mechanic in 1983. I say always work on because it used to break down a fair bit due to it's hard life. The Canberra one I saw driving around Edited by user Friday, 8 September 2006 10:50:51 PM(UTC)

Jim, That is the correct rear bumper bar, plain with no inserts, as per Australian Statesman Deville. Also missing on Gregs is the Bowtie Emblems on the rear pillars. Another identifying feature is the use of narrow sill trim, not the wide trim as found
